Designed with both dogs and their owners in mind, Shaggy Pines provides a safe, enriching environment where dogs can run, swim, explore, and socialize while their owners relax and enjoy the natural beauty of one of Michigan's premier canine destinations.
Safety & Security
Your dog's safety is our top priority. Every dog must pass a staff-conducted behavior assessment before membership is approved to ensure they are social, confident, and comfortable in an off-leash environment. We also require current vaccinations (rabies, distemper, parvovirus, influenza, and bordetella) and a negative fecal test every six months. These standards help create a safe, healthy, and enjoyable park where dogs can play freely and owners can relax with confidence.

Through free monthly events, themed playdates, training sessions, seasonal celebrations, and puppy socials, we bring people and their pups together.
